City of Buffalo Mayoral Primary Maps

 

 India Walton stunned 3 term Mayor Brown by winning democratic primary held in June 22, 2021. Walton did her best in the Niagara District council in which she won by 45%. Her margin in Niagara is almost  the total of the 6 district Mayor Brown combined. The voter turnout was 22% or about 23k of registered voters. Mayor Brown didn't accept the defeat and is mounting a write-in candidacy although the Erie Democratic party support the primary winner, India Walton. Below is two maps showing the council districts and ward level precincts. Brown won the majority of the districts and the wards.
