General Election Results: Biden Win


 


    On Nov 7, 2020, Joe Biden was officially declared the winner and Pres-Elect after leading the vote count from Nov 3rd evening. The race was close than expected, many voters came out to vote for the incumbent president on a historic turnout. Biden won the midwestern state that he needed to win, Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania that Clinton lost in 2016. Biden was also able to flip stronghold red states of Arizona and Georgia while also winning Nebraska 2nd district. Trump was able to hold on former swing states that are trending red, Iowa, Ohio, North Carolina and Florida which he won by a wider margin. Below is the final map of the electoral college.
